Alice works one-on-one with each client to source the perfect diamond to suit both design and lifestyle, educating where needed so the diamond character, qualities and value are understood.

Alice’s extensive history in the engagement industry means she works directly with her chosen few sightholders who source their diamond rough directly from the mines. Each specialises in certain diamond shapes, quality or diamond size. Alice therefore tailors her supplier choice to the individual needs of her clients. Alice has worked with her diamantaires for many years and being registered sightholders, each one adheres to strict ethical procedures and supply chains. All diamonds are GIA certified.
Alice has a portfolio of engagement ring designs to choose from as well as offering a bespoke engagement ring service for her clients.
Every engagement ring is custom crafted to suit the chosen diamond and ring size. The selected diamond is then imaged in its ring setting with 3D imagery so it’s possible to see it in all its glory before crafting begins.
Alice then works alongside her team of skilled craftsmen to create the finished diamond jewel.
If desired, a personal engraving finishes off the unique aspect of an engagement ring. The message or symbol can be written discreetly on the inside of the ring.
Herald jewels are all crafted from Australasian ethically mined 18kt gold or platinum.
The utmost discretion is taken from the beginning of the engagement journey, right up to the delivery of the finished diamond beauty.
Diamond rings can be collected in person from Alice Herald in Wanaka, or delivered by Alice’s preferred secure courier or armed guard.
